The Iris Whitefly Project is the debut studio album by the band Sax Myle, based out of Oklahoma released in 1996. Critically praised, 'Whitefly' quickly garnered a worldwide cult following, established among progressive, avante-garde and college radio.
Content[]
Brian W. Cupp along with co-producers Jeff D. Hail and David Preston began recording 'Whitefly' in the Summer of 1995, developing a signature writing approach designed to coincide within a conversational, non-linear syle. In its finality, the application for unconventional instrumentation augmented with the non bias of spoken word, peculiar to the recorded work, was established.
